India is the fastest growing of the world’s major economies, however some 1.2 million Indian children died of preventable causes before their fifth birthday.

IMPACT India’s Lifeline Express hospital train has been travelling India’s vast rail network for over 26 years, taking medical care and surgery to remote rural communities where every day, impoverished people become disabled for lack of treatment.

Services include:

  • Surgery to restore sight, hearing, movement and correction of cleft lip.
  • Treatment of epilepsy, neurological and dental problems.
  • Screening and surgery for oral, breast and cervical cancer.

Community Outreach
